Today I have noticed something technical. While using an so called “Exchange” account with Outlook, it seems that it sometimes can ask for credentials or a Smartcard. While asking for the credentials it does not show the password field, but it shows its trying to authenticate.
This seems to happen because of a Office Outlook update. What you can do is un-install KB2553248 from the installed updates list, and stops asking for the password after re-starting Outlook then. If you remove the update do not forget to remove the update from the “update” list before updating your computer again.
